Startup Grind wins award to birng a delegation of upstate NY startups to SG's Silicon Valley conference in April 2026
We’re excited to announce that Startup Grind ROC has been chosen to receive an award from SprinboardNY. We would like to say thanks to SpringboardNY and also congratulate all the 2025 winners.
We have to work quickly to make the biggest impact of this award. We created this blog to share our progress and learnings during this journey.
We got some amazing news!!! We won a SpringboardNY award! We will be sending a delegation of 5-10 upstate NY startups to the Startup Grind Conference on April 27-29, 2026.
Startup Grind's western NY startup delegation is made possible through the Springboard Prize Competition, supported by the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation.
Who are we looking for?
Tech-driven startups
Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A and Series B startups
Startups with a presence in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Monroe, Niagara, Orleans or Wyoming counties
Startups engaging with the local startup ecosystem (i.e. attend local events, mentor, volunteer)
Product in market with active users / customers
Willing to attend the Startup Grind Conference in person
Willing to share their experience with our startup community post event
Preferred, but not mandatory
Revenue generating
Planning a fundraise around the time of the Startup Grind Conference
